Seeing through the Plastic Lens

i am not refering to my plastic spectacles, which i have been wearing ever since.

last January 30, 2008, i have acquired, through a friend, a Holga 120 CFN starter kit.

for those not in the know, a Holga is part of the Lomography tradition which is now so in vouge in the Philippines.

i did not delve into the world of Lomo just to join the bandwagon. i did it to satisfy and cultivate my creativity which has been, since i have started working, discarded and set aside.

i did some photography, for a time, back in my photojournalism days in the university. i used a Nikon SLR then. i borrowed it from a friend. i had fun with that camera, even though i only used Colpan 35mms. haha.

now, i’m using an analog camera loaded with a 120mm roll of film. going old school.

now, for a renaissance of self-indulgence. here are some samples.
